I’m Gina DeVee, global success coach and founder of the Divine Living Academy. After transforming myself from being a struggling psychotherapist making $24K per year to now owning a multi-million-dollar international coaching business…

Not that long ago, I was a failure at my own coaching business, despite the fact that I was a GREAT coach. I was living at home with my parents in Michigan, lucky to bring in $2,000 a month.

I hated denying myself things I secretly desired but just couldn’t afford… like travel, beautiful clothes, being generous with others and contributing to causes that are important to me.

I felt miserable, ashamed…. and totally confused. I wondered what was wrong with me.

As a spiritual woman, it just didn’t feel safe or acceptable to “want more”…

Here I was with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, having worked at the White House, the Supreme Court and Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. I knew I had talent and the ability to serve, but my talent was 99.9% untapped. 

I wanted so badly to open the tap, let it all out, and flood the world and my life with goodness.

Many programs use scripts: You learn EXACTLY what to say under a certain circumstance and you sit in a group and parrot responses back and forth to each other. </p><!-- [et_pb_line_break_holder] --><p>The approach Gina uses is different and more organic. You will be provided many opportunities to watch Gina coach actual clients and you will observe live coaching at our events and during our live Q&A calls. This allows you to see how you can shift your coaching style for each client and her unique personality, concern, and history—something that scripting does not allow you to do. </p><!-- [et_pb_line_break_holder] --><p>As you complete your modules, there are two coaching sessions included with each module along with questions that guide you to focus on the actual ICF coaching skills and see how they impact the client. Many of our members do write down the specific questions and comments that Gina uses in her session to add to their own coaching repertoire, but that is not required. </p><!-- [et_pb_line_break_holder] --><p>This method allows you to learn how to coach a wide variety of people in several different areas. For example, you will see in the coaching demonstrations how emotion, history, and core beliefs impact one’s business. Scripted responses would not necessarily allow you to move back and forth between a childhood history of abuse and pricing your current packages, which our approach does. Ultimately, this approach allows you more flexibility and skill to deal with a wide variety of issues. It's all about learning to apply the coaching skills! </p><!-- [et_pb_line_break_holder] --><p>If you have specific questions about how to coach, you will also have the opportunity to call in and ask Gina during our bi-weekly Q&A calls, and as you begin your practicum and start to see clients, you will receive feedback on your coaching sessions to improve your skills.
